Almost the same placement, but the horizontal line that github uses to render
headers doesn't get cut off anymore.

First time I viewed this was on mobile, and the logo left enough space for a
lonely "li" on the left, with the "bratbag" in the line below the logo. Let's
call that a design faux pas and make it small enough to scale.

Notable: parts of the instructions have been punted to the wiki now where it's
faster to edit and be verbose about the specific instructions.

The hwdb was a quick and easy way to add entries for new devices but we need
more and more info about the various types of devices. It's better to move
this to a proper database.
Side-effect: this also gives us an easy way to point to the list of devices
supported and makes checking for e.g. missing svgs easier.

We install everything, so rather than having commands that aren't needed,
simply describe what we're doing and hope for the best.

No-one reads anything longer than 140 char anymore, so let's move the DBus
Interface description out. The average visitor to this site won't care.

Semaphore only provides Ubuntu 14.04 which is too old for us. We now have
CircleCI integration which can run docker images, so let's leave that and drop
Semaphore.

Semaphore CI is still using Ubuntu 14.04, and the shipped systemd version
is just too old.
OTOH, Circle CI 2.0 (still beta as of today) allows to use any docker
image as a base for running the tests. Meaning that we can have a fedora
rawhide image as a base and we do not have to handle the update of systemd
meson and others.
Ship a basic circle.yml for Circle CI to run our tests and add the badge
in the README.

For a builddir called 'builddir', the following commands are sufficient now:
meson builddir
ninja -C builddir
sudo ninja -C builddir install
Meson only needs to be run once after checkout or after the removal of the
builddir.

github is happy with the current README but doxygen is not.
Use the same formatting than the architecture.

This is for the best case where it's just about adding a new device ID. In the
case where reverse engineering is required, some more detailed instructions
are necessary but they take more effort to write...
