bf9d86e228 hidpp10: if the profile name is the empty string, make it NULL
Because our profile struct can never have an NULL name, let's assume the
empty string equals NULL.

it.

da2764e78d Append the created profiles/leds/buttons/resolutions, don't insert
We're initializing them with incrementing indices, let's make sure the list is
initialized that way too. Makes things more obvious in the log when the first
profile to be queried from the device isn't profile 4.

87d4aed3ad Drop the cpp requirement and linker tests
This is a leftover from libratbag-as-a-library and obsolete now that ratbagd
is our only product. Our buildtest now is simply: "does ratbagd build?" and we
certainly shouldn't require a C++ compiler.

7de944aaa0 Use python3-embed as dependency on Python 3.8
Python 3.8 no longer links to libpython, resulting in undefined references to
Python API.

But it provides a python3-embed.pc now, so let's try using that first and only
fall back on the normal case if that fails.

b31a8c5355 hidpp20: fall back to firmware profiles on a profile by profile basis
currently if any use profile is not valid we fallback to the firmware
profiles. this is quite annoying because the user might have only one
valid profile. this patch will keep valid profiles and only fallback to
firmware profiles on a profile by profile basis.

8f88573a08 hidpp20: fix reading onboard profiles (8100)
when we read the memory from the device we already align the offset so
that it matches the end of the sector. for ex, for a 255 sector size the
offset will be set to 255-16.
when we copy the memory (using memcpy) we just copy the bytes that will
finish filling the buffer, ignoring that the offset was aligned. we need
to copy the full 16 bytes, otherwise it will fail when sector_size does
not align with 16.

c1265bc98a hidpp10: fix segfault for the c531 (and possibly other 27MHz receivers)
hidpp10_read_memory will return the HID++ error if the request fails.
right now, the error code from hidpp10_read_memory is transparently
passed through hidpp10_onboard_profiles_read_macro. This is problematic
because hidpp10_onboard_profiles_parse_macro only aborts on rc < 0 and
HID++ error are > 0.

a13ee32c61 steelseries: fix bug where we were wrongly dellocating dpi_{range,list}
_cleanup_ is deallocating the pointer returned by
ratbag_device_data_steelseries_get_dpi_{range,list}(). Deallocating
dpi_list results in a wrong step value, and a wrong step value then
results in a wrong step count when we try to set the dpi.

dbe98ed5b9 circleci: update to fedora 30
And install dbus-daemon manually, until we figure out how to correctly start
the new dbus-broker this will at least help us pass the tests.

And disable nss-systemd so we don't suffer from timeouts as dbus-daemon waits
for that to time out, see c425780220 for details.

c425780220 circleci: drop libnss-systemd from Ubuntu
This is installed by software-properties-common, but since we don't
start our container with systemd, it effectively points to nowhere, adding
nothing but a delay of several minutes.

That delay affects dbus-daemon on startup and on configuration reload, it
takes several minutes to do either. ratbagctl.test installs a custom dbus
config file to be able to connect to ratbagd.devel, that config file triggers
a reload in the dbus-daemon. Since that reload takes longer than any of our
timeouts, the tests eventually fail.
